To Welcome a New Comrade

Hi Everyone! Yes, it's been a while, but I was out sick in RL. After, a lot of things happened in RL as well, so it just got really busy. I am here now though with someone... Someone who will be part of this blog. His name is Denkai and he will be featuring male items for your boyfriend, friend, husband or even for you ladies to look at *winks* He has been out of SL for some time.He said his RL could use a little break, so here he is. Tradition and Modernity

Tradition and Modernity, two words that are often deemed as contradictory. In my opinion, these are two very different things that can actually benefit from each other if used in the correct manner. When we hear the word Tradition, we think of it as a thing of the past, and when we hear the word Modernity, we'd think of something that is occurring. According to Paul de Man, "Modernity exists in the form of a desire to wipe out whatever came earlier, in the hope of reaching at least a point that could be called a true present, a point of origin that marks a new departure." While according to David Emery, "A belief, custom, story, or practice (etc.) handed down from generation to generation by word of mouth or demonstration." 

If we think about it, Tradition and Modernity are two words that entails progress when put together. If you remember the saying, too much of anything is bad. Look at the two photos below. In the first one, the dress I'm wearing shows off a traditional Asian look, which itself is beautiful. I wore it together with hair from D!va. The hair isn't the traditional style that is usually worn with this type of dress, but it goes nicely with it. I look like I can go on a nice date, perhaps a ladies' night out.

The second photo shows a modern take on the wedding dress. It's not the usual long and white gown you see people wear, but the style of the hair used is sort of traditional. I've put flowers on my hair as well. If you think about it, the two words we've been trying to figure out earlier works together to create beautiful outcomes.

Laid Back

Hi Ladies! I've brought today some items from Gizza. I've been busy lately, which is why I found it quite difficult to create new posts. I am now one of Sascha's Designs Official Photographers. I will still be blogging and I acually have a lot of items for you to see, but for now let's focus with the amazing designs from Gizza. 

In the first photo, we have the Hannah outfit in Floral. What I like most about this outfit is how feminine it is. The clothes from Gizza are always in top shape. This outfit includes the sunglasses, the bracelet, the belt, a necklace and a clutch which was not shown. The shoes are from Baby Monkey. They are nicely shaded and it comes with the color HUD for you to change colors. Also, we have the Jaden Skin from Poudre. I liked how it had the same name and look cute too. Poudre skins are very cheap, but they are cute skins which have tangos and slink appliers. It shows off a nice glow and has several ways for you to wear.

The second photo is also featuring an item from Gizza. This is called Burlesque Corset in Black. If showing off your figure is a must for you you will surely enjoy this corset. It shows just enough cleavage and legs to make it look sexy not cheap. The textures are nicely shaded and it contains several fabrics. It's nice to Finally Meet Ya

Hello Everyone! I collaborated with an awesome blogger today from Pixel Phashion 4 Men, Bouncer Criss. He has been blogging since 2011. He takes High quality photos and he reviews the items. I was lucky enough to do this post with him today and I wish you'd all like it.

I am wearing a New Release from Gizza. This is the Thorn Dress. It's very detailed, especially the design on the chest part. It actually looks like it was a separate item, but it's not. As always, Gizza knows how to shade their items very well and it really does show. The first pose is from Elephante Poses, and it is part of the Around the Grid in 80 days hunt. It runs from July 27-October 15, so you have a lot of time to get this and other items from the hunt.

The Second pose is from seicheez. It is an opening Gift. I changed how I used it a bit though. Instead of having my hand sort of holding his arm, I placed it above his shoulder. The second Gown is an item from Sascha's Design. It's a new release which comes in several colors. This is the one I liked most from the other ones though. White symbolizes purity. It's very clean to look at. This dress just like Sascha's other designs can be worn in different ways. I wanted to show two of the choices for skirt styles. There are two sleeve options, but I chose to share the puffy sleeve option. Oh, and you can also use the cocktail dress version of this dress.

"Elegance in Simplicity" This sums up the description of the Red Carpet Gown from Sassy!. It does not contain so many additional details but it entails beauty. It's very detailed and it fits my avatar nicely. This is a mesh gown which shows off its details beautifully.

All Around Goodies! Discount Mania

Yes, I'm back! I think I've done well in my recent midterms. Yay! I have 11 Photos for everyone today, but I will make 2 posts out of it. This is the first post containing casual outfits. The second post contains the formal dresses. The photos are already done and I only need to do the write ups for it

First, let me show you girls New Releases from Charltina's. I like the prints from the clothes. The hat is flexi. I have to say though, this is the first flexi Hat I've seen, and it's cute. The Oriental Dress in the second photo would be nice in a casual or semi formal event. The hair I've worn in the first two photos are from Red Mint. As always you'd see uniqueness in the Red Mint Hairs. They don't use the typical hair texture which  I thought was nice. Another thing I liked about Red Mint hair is that it has different versions for an item, which makes it available to all head types.

Mc Sushi!

Hello Everyone. I've been roaming around SL. I've been trying to find nice places to go to and fortunately I found this Chinese fantasy place. What got my attention here though is "Mc Sushi". I searched and found out that there is such a place called "Mc Sushi", but it not affiliated with McDonald's. 

One thing though... If it's a Chinese Fantasy Place, why would they have Mc Sushi? Or sushi itself? Did Japanese Merchants go to China to do some business? [in RP] Nevertheless, I was amused and decided to take a photo there wearing something you could use for a nice date! As you can see the cleavage part will be sure to catch any guy's attention. This is actually a prim and layer type of dress from Ivy Burner's fabulous creations in "Sassy!". It's called Date Night Dress and is available in several different colors. The fabric/texture is of high quality, which is what you'd expect from the store. I've been a long time fan and this is one of the dresses I liked most. Kindly note though, that their clothes are still affordable. You will get more than what you pay for. Please do check out the store for more items.

A Lady's Woe
