An Elegant Affair

Hello Everyone. For today, I have been inspired by the beautiful Lana Del Rey. I have been listening to her songs lately and I was enchanted by her voice. I have been playing her songs over and over not feeling the need to change them. I am actually the type to listen to almost anything that floats my boat, as long as I find the lyrics and melody interesting. I know we all have different tastes in music, you may also like or dislike Lana, I don't really mind either way. Back to my post, I've wanted a post that showed elegance and grace as I am wearing a lovely gown from Sascha's Designs. It's called Eliemee. If you didn't already know, Sascha creates gown with different skirts and extras. It is very handy, since if you could style it in different ways and mix and match most of her casual clothes. Sometimes even the Gowns. I absolutely loved how the dress sparkles and creates that "I'm elegant, sexy and expensive" look. The thing is, the items from Sascha's are affordable but of quality. You can also join her store group since she has gifts every month [another something to look forward to] for a small fee. I've been part of that group for mo than a year now and it's worth it let me tell ya. 

Next, we have a skin from Yoon. One of the things I liked most about it is how the skin is very smooth and creamy. The lips are easy to edit [since mostly I have a hard time getting the lips to look how I want them to be] which is nice and it has this very soft glow to it. The jewelry are form Chop Zuey. They are sold separately and comes in different colors. One thing easily notable about the Jewelry is the outstanding quality. It actually looks like it sparkles and it has a unique feel to it coming from the gems used.

An Excerpt

I look around…  No trace of the man I used to call mine. I try to escape the clutches of darkness, but I was too weak. I felt a deep longing for him. I try and stand, but pain strikes and I find it terribly hard to carry my own weight. Tears fall and I could not hold it back. I try and remember our last time together. “It’s not that I don’t love you. I just need to find myself first and live without you” he said. I thought he was my heart as I was his, but he left. Do you leave our heart somewhere else? No, you must be with it everywhere you go. Was our relationship not as strong as I thought it was? Was it all in my head?  

 I try to return to my daily routine, though I moved slow and weak almost crying every time I see a memento of our love, or perhaps my love for him. I hoped dearly he meant it when he said I was his heart. I hoped he would return...

I've cooked, I've cleaned, I've dressed down to something I thought he would like. I tried to keep the darkness out, even though it sucked the life out of me.

I sat there waiting for the door to open and for him to burst in and shower me with affection. I waited for what seemed like years... I've cried till there were no more tears left... I try to play back the times we've been happy. It has been 3 months since we've last laughed together, two months since we've last spoken, and a month since he left without a word. I wanted to be with him again. I wanted to be loved again. I wanted him... But he never came. I am in pain... I am broken... I was losing hope... I was losing the light that was once within my soul... I was consumed by darkness. Death.

Hello, I was reading books again lately and I've been writing again. I've mostly just written short stories or sometimes a reaction to what my imagination has been feeding me. This is a an excerpt from one that I am currently writing. In my post today I have some items from the Candy Fair and Halloween furniture from Aphrodite/Heart Homes. I have to say, I'll give The Aphrodite Shop two thumbs up for this dining and kitchen set. It is very interactive, It doesn't cause me lag, which of course I loved, and it "rezzes" these extra items just I just adore. The kitchen counter and the stove rezz food that you will be baking or preparing. The dining set lets you rezz several types of food, which are mostly with the theme of course, Halloween. The spider web was a nice touch. OH! and I liked the whole horror and activity animation in both of the sets. Also, I found this cute lingerie set which is part of the Candy Fair. This is from Que Bella! and it comes with the shoes and all. The skin I am wearing is also from the Candy Fair and I do like how it got all messy. With food and make up in my face, I'd still strike a pose for the camera.

Sweet as Candy

Have you guys gone to the candy fair?! You (Candy Fair)hould if you haven't. I was fortunately one of the lucky bloggers who got to go in the event earlier, although unfortunately I am as usual a little late on my blogging, Anyway, the fair is jam packed with different stores and the sim! Oh gosh  I loved the sim. It reminded me of Charlie and the chocolate factory! This is my first post for the Candy Fair and I've got tons more for everyone.
